For March, we are excited to announce that Kevin Johnson, Manager, Customer Growth & Retention, who is a member of the Sales team at Protenus has been nominated for the Employee Values Spotlight for embodying our shared company values.

Nominating and selecting Kevin Johnson as this month's Values Spotlight winner was a no brainer. Kevin's impact is felt not only on the revenue team - but also across multiple departments including CX, finance, marketing, and the exec team. Kevin has a direct impact on two of our key company KPIs: NRR and New CARR, by ensuring our existing customers renew their contracts, and by growing those relationships and increasing New CARR through identifying and closing cross-sells, upsells, and expansion opportunities. Anyone who interacts with Kevin knows that epitomizes our values, both internally and externally to customers, and is a valuable member of the team. Q&A with Kevin

What’s your role at Protenus, and what do you do?

Customer Growth & Retention Manager. I work with our Protenus customers on additional service needs, expansion of current services, and renewal of services. 

What do Protenus’ values mean to you?

When I think of the Protenus values I think of the Hollywood game ‘Six Degrees of Separation From Kevin Bacon’. We share experiences, stories, values, missions, and more. There are so many different ways for us to connect with each other and it should be celebrated and encouraged. 

As Protenus celebrates their 10 year anniversary in 2024, what makes you most proud about working at Protenus?

As Protenus celebrates 10 years I’m most proud that I can be a part of this celebration. I want to be here for the 15, 20, and 25 year celebrations.

What's your favorite part of your job?

We have a phenomenal network of customers that have been with us from the beginning and I love hearing their stories and most impactful times of working with our team.

What has surprised you the most about working at Protenus?

The relationships I’ve made with my remote coworkers even though we live hundreds or thousands of miles apart.
