A Warning About Recruiting Scams

Recent incidents have occurred involving organizations falsely claiming to recruit on behalf of Protenus. These organizations, claiming to either work for or be affiliated with our company, notify individuals that their qualifications were found suitable to work for Protenus and solicit the transfer of personal information or sums of money purportedly to pay for work equipment.

These communications are fraudulent. They do not originate from Protenus nor are they associated with our recruitment process.

Protenus does not ever ask for money or payments from applicants at any point in the recruitment process, nor do any of the organizations that recruit on our behalf. Our main office is located in Baltimore, Maryland, and we do not have any foreseeable plans to open another location.

All individuals who are successful in gaining an offer of employment from Protenus are always required to go through a formal recruitment process.

Be wary of communications from an email address other than @protenus.com. Other indications that the communication is not legitimate include poor grasp of English, or a request for money or sensitive information such as a social security number.

We recommend that you do not respond to unsolicited business propositions and/or offers from people with whom you are unfamiliar. Do not disclose your personal or financial details to anyone you do not know. If you receive such proposals, you should contact your local police station and provide them with all information you may have from the senders (email addresses, phone/fax details, etc.).

We welcome all applicants and invite you to apply directly through our job listings on https://www.protenus.com/careers/. Take care to avoid fraudulent communications purporting to be on behalf of Protenus. Please return to https://www.protenus.com/careers/ to apply for jobs at Protenus.
