Protenus Adds VP of People Operations as Team Grows to Meet Customer Demand

Baltimore, Md. — Healthcare compliance analytics firm Protenus announced today the hiring of Megan Emhoff as Vice President of People Operations. Megan, who brings more than a decade of experience in high-growth, entrepreneurial organizations, will focus near-term on Protenus team growth.

Protenus uses artificial intelligence to help health systems detect when individuals inappropriately access patient information, gaining deep understanding of clinical and administrative workflows in order to identify and prevent anomalous behavior. Since its founding in 2014, Protenus has worked with an array of premier hospitals, insurers, and health information exchanges across the country.

Megan joins Protenus with more than ten years of people operations leadership experience spanning healthcare and emerging technologies. Most recently, she was Director of People Operations at Curiosity Media, an e-learning platform based in Arlington, VA. Prior to that, Megan led international recruitment for TechnoServe, a nonprofit organization that develops business solutions to poverty. Megan began her career as a recruiter and founding member of the leadership team at Catalyst, a medical staffing services company serving Department of Defense clients. In this role, she led people operations for healthcare staffing programs at Army and Navy medical facilities across the U.S.
Megan is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park.
