Protenus Employee Values Spotlight
Protenus Employee Spotlight - Dan Bullen

Dan Bullen, Technical Project Manager

At Protenus, the values of Build Trust, Be Human, Live (Em) Powered and Onward Together are baked into all that we do. We continuously look for new and rewarding ways to integrate these eight values into our work, for the ultimate benefit of employees, customers, and the company.

For February, we are excited to announce that Dan Bullen, Technical Project Manager, who is a member of the Project Management team at Protenus has been nominated for the Employee Values Spotlight for embodying our shared company values.

Dan celebrated his 1 year anniversary in January and has been firing on all cylinders to deliver on his projects and proactively assist teammates with coverage when needed. He is also contributing to our culture and living our values by adding his personal stamp to our weekly meetings and ongoing dialogue with the entire CX team.

In leading our Weekly Wrap Up Call, Dan has managed to make the meeting both fun and engaging as well as a way that we share valuable information across the team. Every week he adds an opening activity to build team engagement and connection. Dan also regularly engages with the team in our CX Slack channel with things like personal check ins and other fun personal engagement activities to add to the fun culture of CX! In a short amount of time Dan has emerged as a cultural leader for our team.

Dan has taken the lead on a project, which is a large, cross functional PI objective, with the goal of streamlining certain processes to be more efficient and accurate.

In addition to all of this Dan is consistently getting high grades on his post implementation surveys, delivering the best possible experience for our customers.

Q&A with Dan

What’s your role at Protenus, and what do you do?

I am a Technical Project Manager on our Customer Experience (CX) Implementations team. In this role, I manage the onboarding of new Protenus customers and work with various teams and individuals on both the client and Protenus side, to ensure a successful onboarding.

What do Protenus’ values mean to you?

Be Human -  Individual life and professional milestones are celebrated at Protenus. It is wonderful to work for a company that wholly cares about its employees.

Build Trust - At Protenus, we build trust within our teams and with the customer. This is because we have everyone's best interest in mind.

Live [Em]powered - You are encouraged to use your individual voice and that your voice will be heard.

Onward Together - “We are all in this together”. From our programmers to our customer service team and everyone in between, we work together. There's not one team that does it all, it is a partnership that makes us stronger.

As Protenus celebrates their 10 year anniversary in 2024, what makes you most proud about working at Protenus?

One of the many things that make me proud about working at Protenus is the impact our product has on people’s lives. We are constantly growing and adapting  our product to meet the needs of the customer and continue to make an impact as we grow.

What's your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part of the job is the uniqueness of each new implementation. I get to work with a new organization and group of individuals with each new project. Also, the CX team I work closely with on a daily basis is pretty awesome too!

What has surprised you the most about working at Protenus?

There have been a lot of great things since I joined Protenus over a year ago. The thing that sticks out to me the most is the transparency of our management team with their company vision.  They often recap where we were, where we are currently and where we are going in the future, allowing our past experiences to shape our future.
